SOMEONE ASKED ABOUT OSTEEN'S CHURCH which has some 40,000 attendees a week on why it was so big. I was digging around for some other material and found a scrap of paper that had this saying on it, “Biblical Christianity is unpopular, Unbiblical Christianity is popular.” Also, some like the bragging rights of belonging to a really big church, sort of a Tower of Babel complex. Gen 11:4 And they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."
GOD'S WORD IS THE ULTIMATE "RED PILL" No man escapes When freedom fails, The best men rot in filthy jails; And they who cried: “Appease, Appease!” Are hanged by men they tried to please. "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” ― C. S. Lewis "A talebearer reveals secrets, But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter."
